Local Office Superusers
Local office superusers collaborate with the Cooperative Extension Marketing Team to perform day-to-day updates to specific portions of the Cooperative Extension website following procedures outlined in QuickStart Best Practices guide, the university’s Written Style Guide and the ALVSCE Web Ecosystem & Governance document (being released 2025). They also serve as audience advocates, providing feedback on content and website features needed by the public and Extension personnel.

Website governance
Websites are owned by the University of Arizona’s Division of Agriculture, Life & Veterinary Sciences, and Cooperative Extension. While designated collaborators have access to edit specific sections, create new content and update or remove outdated information, websites remain under the stewardship of the ALVSCE Office of Communications & Marketing. The Cooperative Extension Marketing Team functions as the embedded “management team” for the Cooperative Extension website.
The Cooperative Extension Marketing Team has full access to all areas of the Cooperative Extension website. To ensure high-quality content, the office reserves the right to modify content for clarity, grammar, spelling, accessibility compliance and adherence to university branding guidelines. Additionally, the office may adjust any content that does not meet acceptable use standards outlined in the ALVSCE Web Ecosystem & Governance document (being released 2025).
