U. University Training Required for volunteers

The University of Arizona requires training for volunteers in order to meet our due diligence for protecting youth who are entrusted to us and to manage risk for the university.
Instructions for volunteers who are completing these trainings are on the Become a 4-H Volunteer in Arizona and Become a Master Gardener Volunteer in Arizona informational pages. All other volunteers are required to complete Preventing HarassmentÂ
- Preventing Harassment is required of all volunteers.
- Youth Safety is required of all 4-H leaders and all Master Gardeners working in school gardens, and any other volunteer who works with youth.

Requirements for volunteers driving on University business:
- Complete University of Arizona Driver Certificate
- Fill out the current driver form
- Provide proof of current automobile insurance
- Complete and pass the University defensive driving module
- Driving a High Occupancy Vehicle requires additional trainingÂ
