I. Suspending Potential Volunteer Application
At the end of the interview, if the potential volunteer is not acceptable to 4-H:
- Notify State Program Director and manager of volunteer systems providing the rationale for suspending the application
- Notify the volunteer by letter that their service is not needed at this time; do not provide the rationale
- File a copy of the letter in the personnel file
- Maintain the file for 3 calendar years past the date of the letter
- Notify any affiliated club that the volunteer will not be approved
Other programs may utilize this state registry of service declined if they so desire.
Length of time to complete:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â up to 1 hour per person
