Can we start entering AAP-5 info in Vitae now?

Yes, UA Vitae is open and accessible for about 50-51 weeks out of the year.  There is a brief time the system is closed for maintenance and/or mass data imports/exports.  Those dates when it is unavailable are communicated in advance, and we try to make those updates outside of most review seasons.  Otherwise, it's available to enter any information.

AAP-5 (Affirmative Action Plan form 5) helps us to track race, ethnicity, and gender of program participants.  In the past, it was a paper form - now, it's available through the UA Vitae System.  All Extension personnel classified as Faculty should have access to the UA Vitae system already and can log in using your UA Net ID credentials.  Other Extension personnel NOT classified as Faculty can access the system to enter the AAP-5 data as a proxy for the Faculty member they're supporting.

If you need access to the UA Vitae system to enter data, or have other Extension-related questions with regard to UA Vitae, please submit a Support Ticket.  If you have any issues within the system or need additional support, please e-mail uav-support@list.arizona.edu.

Since AAP-5 is entered by date of activity, we can generate reports on AAP-5 data for any date parameters.
