Initializing the trainer
- After verifying the trainer has been plugged in, turn master power on (located under power cord).
- The simulator will boot up and display a message briefly then turn off.
- Click on the “PWR” button on the keypad to turn on.
- Select appropriate disease to listen to using guide, type in keypad and hit ok to listen.
***Note: Heart and breath volumes can be controlled via keypad but will have to be re adjusted when another disease is selected.
Connecting Wireless Stethoscopes
After verifying transmitter is connected, hit switch behind unit to power on.
- Verify jack labeled “Wireless Stethoscopes” is connected to “audio out” port located on bottom side of trainer.
- Switch the wireless stethoscopes switch to on.
- Place stethoscope in appropriate area to listen to selected disease on keypad.
Connecting to Overhead Sound System in Room
- Connect jack labeled “Overhead Sound System” to “audio out” port located on bottom side of trainer.
- Connect jack labeled “To Lapel Microphone” to the lapel microphone in the room.
- Switch the lapel mic to the “on” position.
- Place stethoscope in appropriate area to listen to selected disease on keypad.
****Note:If needed sounds can be adjusted with the in-room sound system control using the “Master” knob.
